The China Spring ISD Education Foundation was proud to host the 2nd Annual New Family Breakfast during the second full week of school. In partnership with China Spring ISD, we welcomed families who are new to the district and gave them an opportunity to connect with each other and learn more about their new community. Breakfast was generously provided by Whataburger and Postert Builders, who helped make the morning both warm and welcoming.
Amanda Talbert, President of the Education Foundation, opened the event by greeting everyone and sharing the Foundation’s commitment to supporting students and teachers. Dr. Marc Faulkner, Superintendent of Schools, spoke with families about the district’s history and tradition of excellence across academics, the arts, athletics, and extracurricular activities. The breakfast was a meaningful way to help new families feel at home in China Spring ISD while giving them a chance to see the many opportunities available to their students.
