Marissa Davenport

Marissa Davenport has served on the China Spring ISD Education Foundation Board for more than three years, currently holding the position of Vice President, Finance & Governance. She graduated from China Spring High School in 2004 and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources from Baylor University and a Master of Science in Human Resource Development from the University of Texas at Tyler.
Marissa is married to Tim Davenport, Captain at the McLennan County Sheriff’s Office, and they have two children, Harper and Hayden. She serves as the Director of People Operations at Neighborly (formerly the Dwyer Group) and is a licensed real estate agent.
Marissa has served on several boards and has been an active participant in and around the community. Her experience includes serving as a board member for the Heart of Texas Society for Human Resource Management, a member of the Baylor Women’s Council and a volunteer for the Leadership Waco Program.
Serving on the CSISD Education Foundation board, Marissa is committed to enhancing educational opportunities and ensuring that every child and teacher has access to the resources they need to succeed. She is dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment where students, educators, and families can thrive together. Go Cougs!
