Amanda Talbert has been a member of the CSISD Education Foundation Board since 2017. She currently serves as the Chairman of the Board and the Co-Chair of Cougar Christmas. She is a Class of 2000 graduate of China Spring High School and a Class of 2004 graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Community Health. She has been married to Jared Talbert (CSHS Class of 2000) for 15 years and has three children: Hannah Kate, Hank, and Hayden and has a dog named Evie Bell. She is the Vice President of Operations and Finance at Talbert Construction, and is a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where she serves on the Children’s Committee and Personnel Committee.
Along with her volunteer work at the CSISD Education Foundation, she serves as Treasurer of the Waco Alumnae Panhellenic, and Treasurer of the Zeta Tau Alpha Alumnae chapter. Her favorite hobby is spending time with her family. Her favorite thing about the CSISD Education Foundation is being able to serve with such engaged community members and seeing the Foundation’s efforts directly benefit China Spring students and teachers.
